PAC Meeting Minutes – November 21, 2016

- Formality of meetings going forward – Look into more interesting ways to hold meetings (Pyjama meeting?!) and keep them more casual but ensure all important items and protocol are still addresses/adhered to.
- Principal’s report – See Attached (Suggestion for the PAC to host an ‘Education Evening’ at a future meeting to assist parents accessing new online reports.)

- Updates
- Fundscrip – Very easy to run and successful = $358 raised. Another order will go out shortly and people are welcome to put more orders in, but please check with us this week for the new deadline. Thank you!
- Emergency Preparedness Kit = $25 raised but offer again mid March for Earthquake Drill in April
- PAC Snack Shack – Very successful – sold over 50 bags of popcorn – next one December 1st
- Booster Juice – Running well and making $1.75 profit per drink.
- BCTF100 workshop offers – Talks offered will be shared with parents for 2017. Variety of topics to choose from, possibly at a PAC Meeting
- Christmas Concert – Dec 8th, due to growing school, the gym is reaching capacity (300 bodies) so this year a Matinee Performance (1.15pm) will also be offered in an attempt to reduce the attendance at the evening performance (6.30pm) Tickets will be sold for $2 each. The presenters will thank PAC and parents for the new sound system to help explain where their donations are going.
