  • Ms LaRoue presented the Principal’s report.
  • Note that report cards are not persistent in the online system. If parents want to have a copy of their child’s term 2 report card it needs to be printed out by parents.

  • Balance Updates since last meeting
    • Gaming account: $3,282.08
    • Activity account: $12,812.86
  • Upcoming events (30 min)
    • Portal Learning Night (Roxanna & Tara) (5 min)
      • Intention is that Roxanna will be available in the computer lab or a desk in the hallway during the following periods to help people access the Portal if parents are having login or other issues:
    • Monday/Tues of parent interview week
    • One afternoon after spring break.
    • Remind to go to link on website to log in
      • Cash for Clothes (1 min)
        • Bags are going to go out shortly for cash for clothes. Collections are going to occur after spring break (due date of Thursday, March 30th).
        • Put a table out with a note at the time of parent teacher sign up and on the Mon/Tues
      • Spring Fling at Seymour’s Pub (10 min)
        • Either Thurs, April 20 or Fri, April 21
        • Silent Auction Ideas:
      • Day with the principal
      • Looking for one-hour of parent time volunteered
      • Real Estate Agents to sponsor – Mr & Mrs Price
      • B Fit Personal Training
      • Al will get something
      • Karen will stop by local shops
      • Fundscrip (1 min)
        • Kindergarten Orientation
          • PAC will attend to collect new parent emails and (May 18th noon) (1 min)
        • Fun Day (May 19^th) (7 min)
        • Staff Appreciation Lunch (date?) (5 min)
          • First week or two of June?
          • No nuts / no shellfish / gluten free

  • Bottle drive in the spring
    • Any interested organizers, please step up!
  • Ongoing bottle collection from the school
    • Karen and Roxanna to alternate/share responsibility – any other volunteers welcome.
  • Tree Chip up
    • Any volunteers welcome to take this on. Must be organized in Spring for Winter Chip Up.
